‘Thy Kingdom Come is a global ecumenical prayer movement that invites Christians around the world to pray for more people to come to know Jesus. What started in 2016 as an invitation from the Archbishops of Canterbury and York to the Church of England has grown into an international and ecumenical call to prayer.’
We, along with others in our Grouping, will be focusing on prayer from Ascension to Pentecost. To help us in this there will be the opportunity of following a daily devotional written by various contributors and a prayer journal provided (free of charge) to all who want to participate.
Our prayers and hope is that this time will help us all focus on how we can come together in common vision for the advancement of the Kingdom of God within this Western Grouping.
Later we will have an opportunity to share outcomes and testimony.
We will end the season of prayer with a joint service of praise to be hosted by Dundee West Kirk on Pentecost Evening.
